It was only just morning. This world was barely awake, pieces of sunlight peaking through the buildings, reflecting yellows, oranges and blues off the impossibly high windows. The sun wouldn't last through the rest of the day--the weather was always fickle during the beginning of the year. Winter liked to stick around well through February.

He wanted to take her to his favorite place in Metrocity. At the very heart of it--and where you didn't have the fantastic views from atop the skyscrapers or the elevated plains nearby, you could still see everything. You could feel the massive size that was this jungle of steel and glass.

Even with that eyesore being built across the man-made lake.

Megamind--Six, to one person in particular--sighed, looking out the window panes set into the wooden doors of City Hall. He didn't have explicit permission to be using their foyer at this hour, but let's face it--he didn't have explicit permission to do much of anything in Metrocity.  So, what was a stolen key compared to most of the things he had done. He wasn't destroying anything this time. But it was warm. And he...wanted to give her the full effect, so to speak.

It was bright in Rapunzel's room in the tower, morning light pouring in from the windows... One window being particularly large, large enough to easily fight a person through it. A chameleon sat on the windowsill of this window, staring out with what could only be defined as longing.

Scattered across the room was proof of the girl's many hobbies - Open jars of paint, a guitar and a mandolin, some leftover candlemaking supplies, a chessboard... And those were just a few. Amid all this was a large bed and a wardrobe - also large. Next to the wardrobe was a mirror, and nearby a set of stairs lead even higher up to the tower.

(ooc| I feel like I am definitely getting some details wrong here in that some stuff was in her room and some stuff was meant to be... Elsewhere, but. Alas. No DVD makes it difficult.)
